We’re playing Sun 31/7 Semaphore Workers Club

Due to our immense flexibility and COVID affecting the Chris Finnen Band we are stepping in to play from 5:00pm till 7:45pm Sunday 31st July.

Late notice I know but we’re very much looking forward to it and we’d love to see you there.

Next we play the Memphis Blues Challenge final at The Norwood Hotel on August 27th for a chance to peddle our idiosyncratic original blues wares in Memphis.

If there are tickets left you can find them here:

We Are In The Final of The Memphis Blues Challenge!

I didn’t expect it but we played a great set curated by Dave Sly, we were tight and didn’t make too many mistakes and we were judged the best band of the heat.

Thanks to everyone who came to see us, to everyone who was there on the night and enjoyed the show. It was great to chat to well-wishers from the public, ARBA members and other bands.

Tickets for the final are available here from ARBA but there might not be many left.

If you can get a ticket and make it that would be great. There’ll be three solo/duo acts playing off in that category and us playing off against The Chris Finnen Band for the ticket to the International Blues Challenge in Memphis.

Wouldn’t that be something?

Replay the live stream

Beags Beer Garden is a great venue. Outdoors, chilled, in the heart of the CBD, and with luck we’ll get a couple more outdoor gigs there before the cooler weather takes over.

There is a gig coming up at The Wheaty on Sun April 10 from 4 pm so put that in the diary.

In the meantime here’s a trimmed up version of the last gig which we live-streamed from Beags Beer Garden.

There’s a couple of glitches where the stream couldn’t keep up but if you’re keen to stay up to date with our adventures then you should enjoy this.

See you at the next gig. Cheers!
