There’s also a playlist of our songs that were played in the interview. Thanks Clayton and Adrian from Songcatcher for having us.

Thanks to ABCX for filming – these guys are great if you need a professional video production.
Thanks to Dan from The Gov for the great mix and stage sound as well as bringing in more lights because he knew we were filming the gig. We can’t thank you enough.
Stay tuned for future gigs and new songs.

Hi. Good news! I hate to sound like the boy who cried wolf but this time the unpredictability of COVID has delivered us a positive and we are now allowed to play our gig at The Wheaty Sat 28/8 (Free entry – doors open 730 pm – bands from 8 pm)
Our thanks go out to our co-hosts The Western Schism for being such good sports and we look forward to sharing the stage with them.
We’d love to see you there and we are looking forward to playing a set of our original blues tunes for you. We hope you can make it. Don’t miss out – capacity is probably limited to 60 – 70 and two bands could see that reached.
We hope to reschedule some gigs soon which we’ll update you on as soon as we have details.
In other news our live album is now available on Apple Music – click here, Spotify – click here, iTunes – click here, and Bandcamp – click here according to your preference. Hi lovers of fine blues music. Despite some turbulence and the lockdowns that come and go without warning we’ve managed to negotiate those reef infested waters and come up with an offering of our songs.
There’s eleven songs recorded live at SCALA Live at The Wheaty and professionally mixed and mastered by Martin Davies at Adelaide Sound And Post, and a bonus interview about the story of The TinMen: how we formed, what’s happened on our time line and how we got our name. No spoilers you’ll have to listen to find out more…
We’ll let you know when you can stream them on your preferred music app (Spotify, Pandora, Apple, Youtube, Deezer to name a few) so if you’d like to know what’s on the horizon for The TinMen subscribe to this web page blog to be notified by email of our updates.
The next gig is on 26/8 at The Gov at 8 pm (free entry) and two days after that on 28/8 at The Wheaty with The Western Schism (free entry doors open from 7:30)
We hope to see you there. Cheers.
Not that we’re superstitious but we will not be playing at The King’s Head next Friday the 13th of August.
Our previous date (the 30th of July) was cancelled due to the SA lockdown and rescheduled but due to lockdowns in other states and uncertainty of lockdowns, travel and quarantine restrictions
We hope to see you there. Cheers.
We were scheduled to play at The Kings Head Hotel on Friday the 30th of July (tomorrow) but due to lockdown that has been rescheduled to Friday August 13th from 6.30 – 9.30 pm, 357 King William St, Adelaide.
Come along as we play our new originals as well as some old favourites for an intimate evening of blues music in the front bar of this venerable old venue.
It’ll be a fun night as we celebrate restarting live music performances yet again.
We hope to see you there!

Well that was a heap of fun. The TinMen and The Geezers put on a great show at Charles Melton Wines and the day was a cracker.
The food and wine were fantastic and the company was in excellent form.
Below you’ll find the recordings of the songs played by The TinMen – Set One in Porch Sittin’ mode and Set Two in Stand And Deliver setting.
Then, we have the inimitable Geezers, without whom none of this would have been possible.
The TinMen’s next gig:
- 17/6/21 – The Gumbo Room at The Governor Hindmarsh – 8:00 pm – 9:45 pm
Please share with your friends and if you have photos you’d like to share you can send them to us or post them to the TinMen facebook page. Hope we see you at a gig soon.

Easter Monday was the occasion for a group of friends of The TinMen to congregate and take part in a musical experience followed by a shared barbecue under the clear sunny skies on the Sly’s porch.
There were various combinations of musical groupings and the resulting tunes are gathered on this page for you to enjoy.
Firstly The TinMen presented what will be the essence of our first set at “Good Time Charlie’s Got The Blues” at Charles Melton Wines on 17/4 at 4:30 pm – as follows:
Then followed a few tunes with The TinMen and guest musicians:
And finally while the BBQ chefs got to work Dave and his guests kept us entertained with some more sweet tunes:
All in all it was a great time and a good try out for some gentler tunes to kick off an afternoon gig in the Barossa in a couple of weeks. We’d love to hear what you think so please get in touch or share this page with whoever would like to hear it. Thanks.
